The section of the Old Testament called the “Minor Prophets” is so named not because that in some sense these books are “minor” but rather the are considered minor because the are considerably short then those that are grouped in the “Major Prophets” section.
The book in this section are Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi
